Nylon Lifting Sling – Triangle Choker – 2″ x 8′ – 1-ply

At 2 inches, this triangle choker sling is the narrowest in the line, with a slotted triangle that lets the other end pass through for a choker hitch. Also called a type 1 sling or choker style triangle sling, this triangle choker sling works in all three hitch types: choker, vertical, and basket, since the slotted triangle at one end lets the other end pass through for choking down on a load. This 1-ply construction is the lighter option in the line. Aluminum triangles are available on request for this width in 1-ply.

Determining Sling Length

Sling length is measured from the load-bearing point of one eye to the load-bearing point of the opposite eye, providing the effective working length of the sling.

Sling Proof Testing Certificates

Proof testing certificates are available for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of your order. For certified proof testing, each sling is individually tested at the factory to twice its rated vertical rating, and the results are formally documented for compliance purposes. Under normal production procedures, only select slings are tested as part of routine quality checks. Because of this, every sling requiring a proof test certificate must be tested individually during manufacturing.
