Bolthold SP10-38S Asphalt Anchors are heavy-duty anchors skillfully designed for asphalt applications. They have excellent performance in 2.5″ shallow asphalt. The 2.5″ asphalt thickness is common for walkways and parking lots. This 6″ asphalt anchor bolt commonly anchors bike racks, signs, machinery, and more into asphalt surfaces. This anchor requires a 7/8″ hole that is 6″ deep, and the use of grout to secure it to the asphalt. The length of the bolt inside the anchor should not exceed 3″. Each anchor is pre-installed with a 1″ long hex bolt and a 1″ diameter washer. The stainless steel finish provides enhanced corrosion resistance, making this fastener ideal for applications near salt water.

You can load the anchors at 80% of their pull rating if the object/structure stands solidly by itself. If the object applies a static pull force on the anchors just as it stands, limit the load to 20% of the pull rating.

Listed below are the approximate amounts of grout required to install one six-pack of SP10-38S asphalt anchors.

• One six-pack of EPX2 grout. (12 oz. bags) – Each Bag Of EPX2 grout installs (4-5) SP10-38S Anchors.
• One EPX2 tub of grout. (10 lb. tub) – Each Tub Of EPX2 grout installs (50-60) SP10-38S Anchors.
• Two EPX3 cartridges of grout. (10 oz. tube) – Each Tube Of EPX3 grout installs (4-5) SP10-38S Anchors.
