Nylon Lifting Sling – Endless – 5″ x 8′ – 4-ply

A 5 inch endless nylon sling sits between the general-purpose and heavy-duty ends of the line, sized for jobs that have outgrown a narrower sling. As an endless nylon sling, also called an endless flat nylon sling or type 5 lifting sling, it’s a continuous loop formed by joining the webbing ends with a load-bearing splice, so it can be rigged in a vertical, basket, or choker hitch and repositioned to spread out wear. In 4-ply construction, it’s built for the highest capacity in this nylon endless sling line, for the heaviest jobs this width sees.

To measure:

Lay the nylon round sling flat and measure from one end of the sling to the other. Do not measure around the full circumference, as this will result in a finished sling that is twice the intended length.

Sling Proof Testing Certificates

Proof testing certificates are available for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of your order. For certified proof testing, each sling is individually tested at the factory to twice its rated vertical rating, and the results are formally documented for compliance purposes. Under normal production procedures, only select slings are tested as part of routine quality checks. Because of this, every sling requiring a proof test certificate must be tested individually during manufacturing.
