Nylon Lifting Sling – Triangle – 2″ x 12′ – 1-ply

At 2 inches, this triangle nylon sling is the narrowest in the line, sized for lighter vertical and basket-hitch lifts. Also called a type 2 sling or triangle lifting sling, it’s built with a triangle fitting at each end for vertical or basket hitch use only; a choker hitch calls for the slotted triangle choker sling instead. This 1-ply construction is the lighter option in the line. Aluminum triangles are available on request for this width in 1-ply.

Determining Sling Length

Sling length is measured from the load-bearing point of one eye to the load-bearing point of the opposite eye, providing the effective working length of the sling.

Sling Proof Testing Certificates

Proof testing certificates are available for a nominal fee and must be requested at the time of your order. For certified proof testing, each sling is individually tested at the factory to twice its rated vertical rating, and the results are formally documented for compliance purposes. Under normal production procedures, only select slings are tested as part of routine quality checks. Because of this, every sling requiring a proof test certificate must be tested individually during manufacturing.
