Nylon Lifting Sling – Twisted Eye & Eye | Reinforced Eyes – 2″ x 4′ – 1-ply

Stepping up from the narrowest width, this twisted eye nylon lifting sling, also called a type 4 nylon web sling, has eyes like a straight eye sling, but each loop twists to create a right angle to the sling body. That twist lets the sling sit snugly against a crane or hoist hook. While a twisted eye and eye sling also works in a basket or vertical hitch, it’s most suited to choker hitch use. In this width, its single-ply construction keeps it light and economical. Select lengths are also available as a reinforced twisted eye sling, with wear pads sewn into each eye.

Determining Sling Length

Sling length is measured from the load-bearing point of one eye to the load-bearing point of the opposite eye, providing the effective working length of the sling.
